Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Lubbock is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Lubbock is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had heard good things about this place from a friend and decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, my first time trying this place fell extremely short. I ordered 4 sausage egg and cheese burritos for a coworker and I. I realized only after getting to work, right up the street, that I was given 4 ham egg and cheese burritos. I was not given a receipt at time of purchase or asked if I wanted one at all. After I realized the burritos were wrong I called the location to explain my order was wrong, I wasn’t offered a receipt, but I’d like my correct order. All the staff member said multiple times was all sales are final. They did not apologize for the mistake or offer to make it right whatsoever. The burrito had too much ham in it to even attempt to pull it out and still eat it. Very disappointing customer service.

This is a pretty tasty donut shop. I appreciate the prices and the variety of options to select from. I thoroughly enjoyed the boudin kolache roll. It was spicy but delicious. The bear claw and cinnamon flower are off the chain as well.

Picked up some Halloween themed donuts for my workplace. I was only able to snap one picture, but these were so cool and unique. They helped life the team's spirits and were delicious too!

Donuts are delicious. I get them a little warm in the oven since I go a little later than most. Everything looks tasty. Go try them out and taste the soft super yummy donuts.
